SmartSafeHealthy is based on the work of Paul Komarek, an author, consultant and educator who has focused on many of society's toughest problems for over forty years. Learn about his consulting work at www.HumanIntervention.net. Learn about his approach to the heroin epidemic at www.SharpStopHeroin.com and to mental health recovery at www.defyingmentalillness.net.

In 2020, to deliver this programming, and develop new programming, Paul formed SmartSafeHealth LLC. Joining Paul in this new venture are Kate Spelman, a registered nurse, and Jennifer Maria Padron, a nationally recognized peer support expert. This new team brings together multiple perspectives on what really helps people, what reforms are necessary, what techniques will pay off, and what's possible today.
